Project description
Remote work on the site. Remove broken links and configure redirect, update Joomla.
The challenge
Remove the broken links.
Proper 404 error settings, you need to configure the correct 404 error handling + configure the redirect where necessary. Remove duplicate conclusions.
Set up a redirect from the VV to the non-VV site.
If possible, update the Joomla version. 2.5.6. to the most recent Joomla 3.8.5.
A file with found non-working links is attached. You need to start working and remove all unworkable links on the site. The file contains links found through Google Search Console.
At the moment, about 100,000 pages have been found during the processing of the site.
It is advisable to manually remove the links and track with the update so as not to spoil the site.
Mandatory requirements
All the broken links that need to be removed are in the xsl file.
And a list of redirects that need to be made to the doxt file.
The robots.txt file should be available without the VV.
