Project description
3D laser scanner is a device that, producing up to a million measurements per second, represents objects in the form of a set of points with spatial coordinates. The resulting data array, called a point cloud, can be subsequently presented in three-dimensional and two-dimensional form, and used for measurements, calculations, analysis and modeling.
The goal of this project is to organize a more primitive version of this device using a mobile device and a special application for Android. The application must be able to determine the boundaries of the object through the camera and build three-dimensional objects in space in the form of points and lines (or simply store data on coordinates and relationships between them).
