Project description
Coursework: "Manage, optimize and promote content on the Internet"
During the coursework you will have to create your website according to the requirements presented, describe its creation in the coursework and put it on public hosting using the GitHub Pages service.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of the basics of hypertext markup HTML
Knowledge of the basics of CSS Cascading Style Sheets
Knowledge of methods of promotion and optimization of sites on the Internet
Availability of [Git distributed version control system][~13]
The task of the course project is to use the knowledge gained in practice when creating a high-quality website containing unique, search engine optimized content.
The assessment for the course project will also be “double”: the creation of the site and content will be evaluated separately and put into the course project.
To pass the course work, you must provide for verification the site you made and the written course work.
The coursework should be in .pdf or .docx format.
The practical part should include information about the color scheme, font, background and images used on your site. Describe the content optimization tools and the HTML and CSS code you create.
The code of your HTML and CSS files included in the text should be structured, the code elements arranged in hierarchical order. If there is a need to bring the code of your site pages or CSS files in full, then it should be issued in the appendix to the course work in the form of a program listing.
In conclusion, draw conclusions about the work done, present a list of the Internet services you use when developing the site.
You will apply theoretical knowledge gained during the study of disciplines: “Optimization and promotion of sites on the Internet”, “Content Management”, “Management of information systems development”.
Your website should consist of at least five HTML pages and a CSS file. To optimize the site competently make page titles. Use a meta tag that will give the search engine a brief description of the content of the page.
Structure of the coursework:
Title page;
Contents of contents;
Introduction;
Theoretical part;
The practical part;
Conclusion.
I'll provide all the materials. If the job is done well, I will order another one.
