Cross-Platform Apps in the Fantom Language

I am a software engineer who works day to day in the Fantom language, and I bring it to projects that need to run in more than one place without a rewrite. The Fantom language is object-oriented and compiles to both the JVM and JavaScript, so a single well-designed module can drive a server on the Java runtime and the same logic can run inside a browser or a Node style tool. For anything that must handle many things at once I use the actor concurrency model, which gives you message-driven isolation without the sharp edges of shared mutable state and manual locking. I have taken code from a rough prototype to a maintained production service, and I am comfortable joining an existing codebase, reviewing it, and tightening the parts that hurt.
