Responsibilities:
- development and support of the server part of the cross-platform service in Python;
Optimization of system performance;
- application of modern engineering practices;
- work in the Agile team;
Design (or actively participate in the design) of the service architecture;
- work in Kazan.
Candidate requirements, add. Information:
- Development experience in Python / Django from 2 years, deep knowledge of the language and real application experience are important;
Experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu) at the experienced user level
- Design, implementation and optimization skills of database (PostgreSQL).
Wishful:
- communication skills, ability and desire to work in a team;
Self-organization, the ability to set tasks and productive work with minimal external management;
Experience in shallow Linux system administration (Ubuntu) and network administration
Knowledge of front-end technologies and protocols, HTML/CSS/JavaScript (with frameworks);
- experience in making architectural and technological decisions;
- Skills of effective work with the version control system (Git);
Experience of OOP development in Python (it is not the duration, but the level of problems solved)
Knowledge of HTTP and how the Internet works; a big plus will be knowledge of REST and client-server architectures.
- Experience with PostgreSQL at a sufficiently deep level, an idea of the capabilities specific to this base;
Experience with Apache and nginx web servers
Experience with the following practices: unit testing, code review, continuous integration;
Clients are mainly foreign companies (USA). Therefore, knowledge of English (at least the average level of conversation) is mandatory, that is, D.B. At least such a base on language knowledge, which can be in 2-3 months. Intensively raise to an acceptable level.
