It is necessary to develop a software power supply using the LabVIEW language, which will be able to control voltage and current, as well as the function of protection against overload and short circuit. To do this, a digital-to-analog converter, an op-amp, transistors, diodes, resistors, capacitors, a printed circuit board and connecting wires will be used.
- List of programme functions:
1. The voltage and current control function is the main function that will control the digital-to-analog converter to set the desired voltage and current. This feature will receive data from the user and transfer it to a digital-to-analog converter, the algorithm of which will be created by you.
2. Voltage and current stabilization function – this function will be used to ensure the stability of the output voltage and current. It will include an op-amp for current conversion.
3. Overload and Short-Circuit Protection – This feature will be used to protect the power supply from overload and short-circuit. The program must display a message about block overload and disconnection.
4. Signal filtering function – this feature will be used to filter signals and ensure the stability of the device. It will include capacitors and resistors.
5. User Interaction Function – This feature will be used to interact with the user and display information on the screen. It will include controls such as buttons, sliders, etc.
