Remote work for a web developer. You need to write a parser of goods with a search for similar positions, which will be convenient and easy to use.
The main tasks that it must perform:
(1) Gather information into a database from competitors' sites, which could be supplemented if necessary. Collection of information on pre-defined criteria, on certain categories of goods (with a photo of the goods necessarily), which could be indicated.
(2) Comparison of photos from the supplier's inventory database, which are loaded separately. The comparison should be based on the product photo.
(3) Analyses based on the analogies selected and identified. Comparison of prices, characteristics and output to a separate table file of the finished analysis.
Stages
1) selection of the primary file (order from the supplier) with pictures. Definition of images in this file. Reference to the pictures of the next description (optional).
2) select a secondary file (competitor directory) with pictures. Definition of images in this file. The description of what is near (optional) is attached to the pictures.
(3) comparison of the images for similarity. The output of similar images in a separate document, with an indication in a separate column, where the two documents found similar results. Also, the ability to output the price of one and the other offer (and description (optional)).
