Project description:
Offering remote work. An OPC server developer is required to communicate with the Metronic 100 modem. It is necessary to install and configure an OPC server at the customer’s station.
Description of the system:
A stationary counter A1140-10-RAL-BW-4T is installed, to which the GSM Metronics 100 A1140 modem is connected via RS-232 (the connection between the modem and the counter is configured). The modem is parameterized on its own.
Task:
It is necessary to install and configure an OPC server at the customer’s station, which will receive data from the Metronic 100 A1140 modem, store them and organize the availability of data for visualization of Siemens WinCC Advanced (scade is written on its own).
Any OPC server, preferably free. Installator, quacks, etc. Provided by the OPC server developer.
As a customer, I check the visibility of tags in WinCC Advanced and UaExpert to determine the system’s operability.
