Offering remote work. It is necessary to write a practical part for the diploma on the topic “SAP-systems security analysis”. The area of masking and anonymizing data was chosen for development.
Idea:
Functional consultants test developments on real-world data in a preproductive environment.
While their designs must be based on any data, no matter what is in them, they are asked to copy the productive data without alteration. This is where the security problem lies: productive data is accessible to a limited number of people, according to the role model, but when copied, this data enters a system in which not only business users work. This is the vulnerability of the business process. In SAP itself, there is a solution to this problem, called Data Masking, and some of the values are closed like this. You can do the development yourself. There are third-party solutions available in open sources, according to SAP data anonymization, SAP data masking.
