Project description:
Offering extra earnings. A software implementation of a simple expert system is required, preferably in Java, which shows how expert systems work. The system asks 10-15 questions and gets answers, checking with the existing knowledge base, gives the result to the screen. It's simple and primitive. The score. You can even have the program run in the console window. At the exit, I expect a working program and its source so that I can bring it to the educational institution and demonstrate it.
There are several topics to choose from:
Topic 1. Expert system for determining the optimal configuration of the PC.
Input:
(1) the purpose of the use of the PC;
(2) the cost limits of the selected configuration;
(3) component manufacturer
Topic 5. Expert system for the selection of equipment for a computer network.
Input:
1) the number of computers in the network;
2) network topology;
(3) the cost limits of the equipment required.
Topic 17. Expert system for diagnostics of computer malfunction.
Input:
(1) which programmes are “incorrectly” working;
(2) how the system speed has changed;
(3) which devices are affected.
Output:
(1) the possible cause of the failure;
2) possible means of correcting the failure.
