First of all, I will describe the situation...
Our team is working on an IT project – a site for online bidding. Globally, the concept is much broader, but at the first stage everything will revolve around the online trading service. The project is primarily designed to address commercial issues, i.e. It is initially for business, but later we also count on the interest of physical persons. persons. Thus, now our main target audience is medium and small businesses that could significantly improve the efficiency of their purchases using our service (reduce the price, eliminate corruption risk, diversify suppliers, reduce the time spent on finding offers).
Currently, there is a fully finished task, the degree of implementation of its code is about 15%. The work on writing the program is planned to be completed in the autumn of this year. There is a working version of landing.
In parallel, legal and financial work is being carried out, as well as work on creating a quality catalog of goods / works / services and interface design.
Now on to sales...
At the stage of launching the site in production (during the first year), the promotion of the site's services is planned only through distribution through agents (freelancing) and through word of mouth. Advertising and promotion in the media, press, Internet will not be used. This choice is due to the fear that by bringing out a rough product, we will surely find serious disadvantages, but at the same time we will indicate our main advantages to competitors. As a result, while we are correcting our shortcomings, competitors will improve their services (they will need from 6 to 12 months) and after a year our advantage will either be insignificant or even reduced to zero.
Thus, during the first year, our main tasks will be on the one hand, the finalization of software, hardware, interface, and on the other hand, the creation of a network of agents for the sale of site services, a customer base and conducting a certain number of trades. To be more precise, our targets by the end of the first year will be to have 5,000 clients, to conduct 50,000 trades, to create a network of 1,000 agents, and to ensure the presence of clients and agents in all regions of the Russian Federation.
The task is set as follows: it is necessary to create a set of measures for the development of a network of agents and an active customer base in all regions of the Russian Federation.
