Project description:
Requires the development of the coupon module or the creation of a new one for Virtuemart.
The joomla 3 website engine + Virtuemart 3 store. The site has a coupon component AwoCoupon Pro (Free version). The component creates discount coupons with the possibility of fixing it under a specific buyer or product. But that's not enough.
The goal: to create an automated discount coupon system.
Details:
1. Automatic creation of a coupon with a discount of 3% for each buyer after the first checkout on the site and sending him a letter with information about the discount coupon. Example: You have become the owner of a cumulative discount coupon No. 1234 with a discount of 3%. The maximum possible 20% discount can be achieved if the following conditions of the promotion are met.
2. Terms of the promotion: the buyer must distribute the coupon among friends, comrades, etc. For each new order from a new user, when the coupon number is entered in the buyer’s basket, the coupon owner receives +1% of the discount to the main coupon. As a result, 17 new buyers will add a 17% discount to the coupon and get a 20% maximum lifetime discount. But if within 3 months these conditions are not met, then all the accumulated discount is canceled and the buyer receives a new coupon and starts all over again.
But there is a caveat: all 17 new buyers attracted should enjoy a discount of only 3%, unlike the coupon owner, whose discount increases as buyers with his coupon grow.
3. Create coupons after placing an order for each buyer, regardless of whether he entered someone’s already valid coupon or not. Everyone should have their own coupons.
4. Output information about the coupon, its discount to date, the validity period in the form of countdown of remaining days and the remaining number of orders to reach 20% in the user profile.
