There is a working website on wordpress. http://ticca.ru/ You need to replace the theme of the site with one of the modern WordPress themes. Like themes: http://wordpress.org/themes/promax, http://wordpress.org/themes/carton, http://wordpress.org/themes/mesocolumn, but if you know another topic as well as these, you can do it.
When changing the topic, the following conditions should remain:
Preserving functionality (old shortcodes for ad units within existing articles should work; there may be new shortcodes for subsequent articles or even another way to insert ad units – this is not so important, the main thing is that they are easy to insert during the writing process)
Preserving layout of existing articles (more than 300) – images and text should not float
The colors of the theme should be the same as now, or equally neutral; in general, a neutral design is needed (a site about the design with an abundance of photos - neither the background nor the widgets should be too contrasting).
It is very important that the theme was friendly to tablets and smartphones, and cross-browser, of course.
- layout of the main page and pages of categories can be anything under the conditions: one sidebar (left or right); announcements of articles in two columns, the existing menu is saved (the latter is very important); in general, if the layout is similar to the existing one, it is OK.
I would like the theme to be customizable from the admin (make the left sidebar right, change the header, footer, add shortcodes, etc.)
