A large project about the unknown requires a publishing editor for remote work.
We are looking for a person with a long (from 2 years) experience as a publishing editor. A significant advantage will be interest in the theme of the unknown: astrology, esotericism, fortune telling, magic, etc.
What do you have to do?
Issue of tasks, operational control of the process, interaction with copywriters / rewriters;
- Analysis of topics in the niche "unknown";
- Preparation of a technical task-brief for articles (includes the analysis of the topic of the article: structure, content, key issues);
- Checking the technical parameters of written texts;
- proofreading, quality control, stylistic proofreading of incoming texts;
Selection of rewriters for long-term cooperation (as needed);
Write, publish and draw up written texts are not necessary.
WE EXPECT YOU:
Ability to perform the tasks described above and be responsible for the quality of their work;
Analytical thinking, ability to systematize data;
- The desire to develop in the field of editorial activity, to gain new experience and apply it in practice;
Stress resistance, the ability to work with a large amount of information in conditions of multitasking;
A significant plus the presence of higher humanitarian education (preferably philology, journalism, publishing) or sufficient own experience.
It is highly desirable to have an interest in the subject of “unknown”, experience with such material (possibly as a reader).
What is required of you:
Absolute literacy, knowledge of modern Russian, knowledge of editing techniques;
Blind ten-finger printing method, knowledge of hot keys and combinations;
Understanding the working mechanisms and trends of the development of Internet sites and content projects in particular;
Understanding the principles of SEO-optimization of text, experience with key phrases;
Knowledge of the principles of CMS, basic skills in HTML;
Experience as a website editor or in a similar position from 2 years.
What we propose:
Remote work with a workload of about 40 hours per week;
Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour working day;
– Salary of 25 000 Russian rubles;
- Test period: 1 month.
