Work description:
Napoleon syndrome, or as it is also called the "small man complex" - these concepts apply to people of short stature. How does a person's height affect the formation of their personality, does it help them advance through life? What difficulties do short people meet on their path? Let's try to answer these questions.

It all begins in adolescence. Taller children stride through life more confidently, have high self-esteem, get into prestigious clubs, and girls take notice of them. And here the rule "success sticks to success" kicks in. Such people, as a rule, grow into adults who confidently walk through life and unconditionally believe in their success, and as a result they most often achieve what they want, choose well-paid jobs that require better skills and confidence in one's abilities, and such professions are always well paid.

As statistics show, tall men earn more. You don't have to look far for an example - just look at basketball players' salaries and everything becomes clear.

Short children, on the other hand, have to endure the mockery of their peers, and they develop a sense of inferiority. The "shorty syndrome" develops in them increased willpower, stress resistance, develops competitive skills, and forces them to fight for their place in the sun.

Short people see a threat from tall ones; they believe the latter constantly belittle them and mock them in their thoughts. Women prefer tall men, and because of this they develop problems in relationships with the opposite sex. It is no secret that little unfortunates are far more jealous than their tall rivals. As they grow up, short people continue to face discrimination from society. Building a career is significantly harder for them, they are promoted less often, their wages are lower than those of their tall friends... This causes an even greater sense of inferiority and inadequacy.
