What is a photograph to me?
For every photographer who really loves and appreciates his work, it is very important to have his own zest, his style or, as they say, "his own handwriting". In my opinion, the photographer’s handwriting is expressed both in his manner of photographing and in the manner of processing. It is very important that it be unique, otherwise the photos become like hundreds and thousands of other photos that are now full of the Internet.
My career as a professional photographer started with... Bad photos of my wife. On one of the birthdays I decided to give her an unusual and memorable gift - a photo shoot, the result, to put it mildly, disappointed me. Then I gave about 8 thousand rubles for an hour photo set, deciding that I trust the work of a professional. Seeing the result, I realized then that among professional photographers, as everywhere there are those who can take pictures and those who can sell, typical managers with a beautiful site, which hosts works of excellent quality with the participation of stars, and a disregard for ordinary people.
I am alien to this kind of injustice and I try to approach cases of any kind responsibly in everything. If I can't do something right, I'd rather not take it than upset a person by deceiving their expectations. The same goes for my attitude towards photography. All the works posted on this and my personal site are what people end up getting.
Returning to the question of the unique handwriting of the photographer, I add that from the very first day of my photography, I set the goal of finding new solutions in photography and breaking the existing patterns, which would make each new photo shoot in its own unique and unique. The same applies to the processing of source materials. Once a week, I set myself the goal of doing a non-commercial soul shoot and implementing any interesting new projects for my portfolio.
