Visiting the world of art is a celebration for children and young people, a contribution to the development of museums, galleries, and historical landmarks. It is a day when they gain great experience by working alongside staff and volunteers to take part in the life of the museum. The advantage is that having young people at the heart of a museum makes it an energetic and interesting place, sets the stage for engaging with young visitors in a slightly different way, and can bring fresh ideas and positive change. Galleries and museums offer many things for children, and in particular they allow them to get in touch with the past, while they can also imagine new futures. They shed light on the stories of the children's community - from how their grandparents lived in the past. Museums are about real things. And the world of art offers something special - the unforgettable sensation of the real.

Oral history is testimony that reinforces existing scientific information and provides perspective on the future experience of a "real tsunami" for museum visitors.
