Console applications
1) Each task is a separate program
Task 1. Write a program that calculates the area of an arbitrary polygon given by the coordinates of its vertices. Provide error handling.
Task 2. Write a program that analyses a pressed key and reports whether it belongs to a certain group of keys. Messages are shown for digit keys, capital letters and lowercase letters of the Latin alphabet.
Task 3. Write a program that solves a quadratic equation. The roots may be complex. Set the field width to 10 characters, the precision to 4 digits and fill the empty positions with the "$" character.
Task 4. In a sequence of integers, find the number of positive elements whose values lie in the interval [-10; -20] and find the maximum among them. Implement the search for the maximum and the counting of positive elements with functions (methods) that take parameters. The array can be filled manually or automatically (from a file or with random()). Provide error handling.
Task 5. A maze is given by an array a, where a(k,m)=0 if the cell (k,m) is "passable" and a(k,m)=1 if it is "impassable". The traveller's starting position is a passable cell (i,j). The traveller can move between passable cells that share a side. Find out whether the traveller can leave the maze (i.e. reach a border cell). If so, print the path. Let the user set the maze dimensions and the traveller's starting coordinates. The maze is generated automatically with random(). Provide error handling.
2) Also in console mode
Records for hourly-paid workers contain the workshop number, personnel number, surname and initials, hourly rate, hours worked, the salary amount (calculated in the program), the deduction percentage and the amount payable (calculated in the program). Compile a list of the workers of workshop No. 2 and determine the total salary.
3) Graphical mode
Repeat the first item.
Also make sure that:
1. All captions and labels, i.e. all text, are in one language only, preferably Ukrainian;
3. Navigation between tasks is provided by a menu;
4. Colours may be used to highlight the necessary areas of the program interface for better perception by the user.
The last program, 6. Telephone calls (client, top-up, call, blocking).
