Dear translators!
In May, we expect a large order for the translation of more than 300 drawings of Autocads from English to Russian (and a smaller volume from Russian to English). From time to time, the same translations will be made in the same volume. We are looking for translators who can and will work with such projects. If you are interested, send a resume and answer the following questions in the letter:
1. Have you had previous experience translating Autocad drawings? If yes, describe briefly.
2. What is the process of working with such translations? Do you translate in the Autocad itself or do you render the text using any program? Do you have a cartridge program yourself? Do you use any translation memory (CAT) tools?
3. Cost. Do you think such translations are usually based on signs/words or for each drawing separately? If for each drawing, what about drawings where there are literally a few phrases, or for example, most repetitions? Your bet.
4. How much can you translate in a day/week?
