REGULATIONS
Art.1
The 6th edition of “Rota in Festival” – festival of new playwriters and of young
theatre companies will take place in Mercato San Severino (SALERNO, ITALY) in the
period of October / November 2011.
Art.2
The call for participation to the festival is open to professional and non-professional
Theatre Companies or Theatre Groups having their residence on all the territory of the
European Union. In order to be admitted to the selection for the category “New
Playwriters”, the script must not have been registered with the SIAE before 01/01/2000 (for
foreign texts the same parameter will be valid for registration to similar Institutions); in
order to be admitted to the selection for the category “Young Theatre Group” the
constitution of the Company or of the Society must not have taken place before
01/01/2000 – this parameter is to be found in the charters for foreign Companies as well.
Art.3
Companies and Theatre Groups wishing to take part to “Rota in Festival” must pass
two selections to be admitted to the final program.
Applications to the first selection phase have to include the following attachments in
multimedia format:
1. title of the work (or of the works) with which the Company wishes to take part to
the Festival, including the author’s name and, in case of a foreign text, the name of the
translator, the number of parts and acts, the duration of the performance, data concerning
the music used in the show (author, publisher, title);
